Tuesday, November 15th

General:

1. Scholastics due Friday, November 18th (cheques only for Mrs. Tam's class).
2. Pillars of Care Assembly on Friday, November 18th at 8:15 am.  All family members of award winners are invited to join us for the celebration.
3. Early Dismissal (11:00 am) on Friday, November 18th. 

Science:

1. Today, we had a chance to head outside and make Plants vs. Trees observations.  We looked for similarities and differences.
2. The last half of the period was used for our Leaf Projects.  We have one more official work period on Thursday.  Please manage your time wisely!

Language Arts:

1. We had a mini lesson and practiced how/when to paragraph our writing.  For narrative stories, we start a new paragraph when there is a:
• P - Change of PLACE
• A - Change of ACTION
• T - Change of TIME
• S - Change of SPEAKER

Math: 

1. We spent the period practicing Order of Operations (BEDMAS). Don't forget that division and multiplication (as well as addition and subtraction) are interchangeable depending of which one comes first.
