General:
- PD Day Friday. No school for students.
- Subway Fun Lunch Orders due Tuesday, November 29th
Math:
- We talked about "preserving equality" today, meaning whatever we do to one side of the equation we must do to the other in order to keep the values the same. We will do some practice questions tomorrow.
Science:
- Leaf projects were officially due today. A third of the class still owe us the project.
- Trees and Forest quiz next Monday. See the previous post for quiz topics and format.
Language Arts:
- We finished analyzing "Fireflies" by Owl City. Some of the themes students got out of the song include:
- Don't take life for granted.
- Live life to the fullest and try to experience as many things as possible.
- Take in whatever is happening around you. Don't let a moment pass by.
- Students must be on the peer-editing stage of their writing by tomorrow. Laptops have been booked for the next week to do our good copies.
