General:

1. Continue bringing in food banks items for our Veterans.
2. Remembrance Day Assembly next Thursday, November 10th at 10:20 am.
3. No school Friday, November 11th.
4. Photo retakes Monday, November 14th.
5. Book orders due November 16th.
6. We had a firedrill this afternoon.  The Grade 6s did a fantastic job of lining up quietly, getting out of the school quickly and staying focused throughout the whole drill.

Math:

1. Patterns (Input/Output) Quiz on Monday!
2. Students need to create with four questions following Mr. Shackelton's requirements for the pattern.

Science:

1. Today was the first official class of putting the Leaf project together.  The project is due November 18th!

Language Arts:

1. Spelling Test tomorrow.  Students need to know how to spell the figurative language types, as well as what they are.
2. Students have been busy writing their narrative story.  They should have completed the following:
• Setting goals
• Story Map
• Story Beginning (exposition)
• Rising Action #1
