Today in class we completed learning how to solve 1 step (operation) equations with an unknown variable (solve for 'x'). We continued to expand our knowledge by learning how to solve 2 step ( 2 operation) equations with an unknown variable. Next week we will be focussing on a lot of practice with solving for the unknown in 1 and 2 step equations.
In social studies we created the test review based upon the presentations and notes taken from the class. We also broke down how the map of Alberta will factor into the test. On Tuesday they will be given the different types of formats to expect, as well as be given time to quiz each other.
In LA we continued our working on the narrative unit. The final copy is due December 2nd.
In the afternoon the grade 6s yet again were outstanding with their reading buddies! Keep it up guys!
