- Science project deadline pushed to Monday, Nov 21st
Today in math we continued with learning more about equations. We learned how to isolate unknown variables by themselves and why we like to work with positive numbers. We also explored the balancing / equality of equations. How the left side must equal the right side and whatever we do to one side of the equation we must do with the other.
In science we had time to work on our leaf project and explore the differences and similarities between trees and plants. Mrs. Tam is giving an extension for the Leaf Project until MONDAY, November 21st! Students who have completed the project are more than welcome to hand it in tomorrow as planned. No more class will be provided!
During LA we focused on how to peer and self edit our work while others continued to draft their story. The rough copy must be completed deadline by Monday, Nov 21st.
In the afternoon the grade 6s proved again to be excellent teachers, leaders, and role models to their grade 2 reading buddies!
We hope everyone has a terabyte-sized Thursday!
