General

1. Swimming continues tomorrow.  Students are making good process in their swimming skills and confidence.
2. No School on Friday or next Monday.
3. Fun Lunch forms/$ due Thursday, October 18th.  The Fun Lunch itself will take place Thursday, October 27th.

Math

1. We've been learning about Standard Form (2 453), Expanded Form (2 000 + 400 + 50 + 3), and Written Form (two thousand four hundred fifty-three).

1. Number Sense quiz next Tuesday.  Start reviewing the follow:
• addition/subtraction/multiplication/division (with and without decimals)
• place value to millions
• standard, expanded and written form

Language Arts

1. Continued our lessons about Story Elements.  All students should be done developing their protagonist character by now.  This character will be used in their next piece of narrative writing.
2. We will be moving onto Setting next.

Science

1. Continue collecting and pressing the leaves that you have researched.
