Today in class we reviewed the pattern rules and relationships we have been working on this week. Students shared their strategies and responses on whiteboards and smart-board.
We continued on with our social projects about Alberta's regions. The students have been working really well together. Ask your child about their project and see if they can recall any interesting facts they have been researching :)
In LA, we have been transforming boring, "dead" words into vibrant words full of life! The students, working in groups have been making useful posters using dictionaries and thesauri to elevate their vocabulary before we start the writing process on their narratives.
In the afternoon we were treated to G.P. Vanier brass band! The students were allowed to ask questions about the school's band program and experience junior high band.
We hope everyone has a tremendously awesome Thursday!
