Reminders

1. No school Friday!  

2. Math Test Tuesday! Review: Adding, subtracting, multiplication and division and place value!

3. Social - Road maps DEADLINE Tuesday for those who did complete! 

4. Swimming continues on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. 

5. Fun Lunch forms/$ due Thursday, October 18th.  The Fun Lunch itself will take place Thursday, October 27th.

6. Book orders due Friday October 26th
7. Science project - press and collect leaves! 

After swimming, we had a pop quiz on narrative structure.  We're really pleased with the overall results! Then we continued to practice our silent setting skits with our groups.

In math we focussed on expressing numbers in written form.  As well the students had time to review any number sense skill they wanted to work.

During reading buddies, the students read great with their grade 2 partner.  It was outstanding to see how they're becoming great helpers.
