Newscast:
-master scripts for all (and 1 for the teachers)
-props
-set design / classroom layout
-commercial script
-practice, practice, practice

Today we started off with a fire safety presentation from the Calgary Fire Dept.  It was an excellent presentation about fire safety.  Remember to have your own escape plan in your own home and to check the smoke detectors regularly.

After the assembly we had a bit of time to start some work in social about government rules and regulations,  and the services levels of government provide communities. 

In LA we continued to work on our newscast project!  The students are really into it and we look forward to seeing them Monday!

In the afternoon we had library, gym, music.
