What a great presentation today from Mr. James D. The students were so enthralled with the planetarium visit and it was such a great show in the Learning Commons! Ask your child why we have seasons. It has something to do with 23 degrees!! Your child should be able to communicate this to you.
Measuring the area and perimeter is proving to be challenging for some so this work will continue. However, Tuesday we will be building on these concepts and talking about volume.
In Language Arts, students learned about Diamonte poems. A quick review with you as parents regarding nouns, adjectives, and verbs might help bring in some interesting vocabulary to these poems. For homework, there are 2 poems due for Tuesday.
Reminder that school clothing orders are due Wednesday, March 22. Parent Council will have a booth set up at conferences.
