Today in math we worked hard on multistep word problems with diagrams solving for area and perimeter.
In science today we explored interesting facts about the Earth and its relationship to our solar system, the sun, and space itself; very cool stuff!
During LA we completed our group Haiku's on the 4 seasons, and presented them to the class. For the most part each presentation is better than the next, and the students are learning how to work more effectively in a group setting.
In the afternoon, as always, our grade 6s were excellent reading with and listening to their reading buddies. Its always a joy to see them to motivated to helping younger students read.
We hope everyone has a Thermal Thursday!
