Good day!
The students were busy today in math, solving complex problems based on their understanding of perimeter, area and volume. Open math problems that encourage thinking and a variety of answers are proving to be challenging and offer opportunities for open-minded thinking. This work will continue for the next while.
Social Studies involved looking into Ancient Athens while Sky Science centers were worked on as well. Also, students completed sentences with their spelling words, and got a handle on concrete poetry.
