Reminders
1. Social test Monday - useful links, test reviews, PAT exam have all been posted!!
2. Concrete Poem final copy due TUESDAY the 11th
3. Science presentations
4. Math - checkerboard problem
B) Math Quiz Thursday the 13th!
5. SJAM open house April 10th starts at 6:30pm
6. Book orders due Friday April 21st
Today in class we worked extensively on open-ended, multistep world problems! Some were very challenging :)
In social we went over the test format, test review, the links posted on the blog, and orally took up the definition of every key term and the questions on the handed out given. Apologies for the test after the March break, just they wouldn't have had the time to study by the time we finished this unit. We will also be visiting a lot of information about government after exploring ancient Athens and the Iroquois Confederacy.
Both classes marked their spelling sentences and spelling tests while the other was on the in-class SEEDs field trip. The SEEDs experience was great! We learned about soil and whats in it, how watering plants work, how to grow profitable farms via games, and have our very own sunflower plant that we planted in a cup to bring home today.
Growing Tips:
Water a bit every other day, once it sprouts use a straw to help support the stem. Transfer to the ground in the middle of May.
We hope everyone has a fabulous Friday and even better weekend! See you Monday!
