Today we went over angles, triangles, and measurement by using math antics videos to start. Then students continued on open ended problems to prepare them for the 'show what you know' quiz May 2nd.
In social studies we are reviewing the textbook chapter on ancient Athens, every student has their own textbook till end of the year. We are working on summarizing, writing in full sentences, scanning and skim reading for key terms / phrases. Mr. Shackelton's class questions are due Tuesday May 2nd, Mrs. Harris' class due Friday May 5th because of our science / social rotation.
In LA we continued social studies and did a genius half-hour.
In the afternoon we cleaned up files, continued social studies, had gym and both classes had music to practice for the concert.
