Brrrrr! Looks like a long and cold week indoors. Remember to dress warm, take off your boots and head to the gym in the morning.

Math
We reorganized our books and did a general overview of fractions and decimals and have begun to look at how percent or (PER ONE HUNDRED) is related to this.

There was a continued focus on how to communicate:
-verbally
-with pictures-
-using numbers
-through math manipulative
-and in written word

This work will continue over the rest of this week.

Science
Students had the opportunity to research and find answers to their questions about Air, Aerodynamics and Flight. Discussion about using resources like the laptops occurred and generally, Digital Citizenship with talked about.

Writing
Continued work on Fairytale Articles - These are due Friday
Continued work on spelling words into sentences - Due Wednesday
Spelling test will be Friday

Other homework?
-Social - Think of 3 rules every group should follow so they are successful
-Math - Why are their animals on coins? Why is the queen's head on all the coins?
