Today the students participated in an
interesting discussion with a special guest about the health of one of the most
important organs in your body…your HEART! Ask your child about some of the
things they learned today.
Room 15 took up some Social Studies
questions with Mr. Shackelton while Room 14 went through Science centers and
prepared reviewing for the test on Monday.
In Language Arts, everyone began to
prepare for the writing exam by brainstorming potential conflicts on pictures
presented. Students chose either person vs. person, person vs. self, or person
vs. nature. Key points to remember:
-keep conflicts and problems SIMPLE
-Answer the five W’s in your planning
-Start your story with the scene in the picture (setting)

created as a class everyday, and information off the blog!
