Today in math we continued to learn about graphing the elements it contains. We also took up the 'show what you know' practice review for tomorrow's test. We are going to be graphing our time used each day in a 24hr period.
In social we explored the roles and responsibilities of each of the three levels of government. Then we briefly talked about eco-cities, and smart-cities, the way of the future, to introduce our new math city project.
When the artist in residence program begins each group will be creating a 3D city themed after a math shape like pentagons. Each city must have the required buildings / sections we learn about in social that actually make a city a city.
In LA we corrected the tests and started learning about the comma, semi-colon, and conjunctions. The grammar practice is due Valentine's Day.
In the afternoon the classes were outstanding again with their reading buddies.
Have a Thisty Thursday :)
